I was responsible for running the Thyroid Clinic. This involved diagnosis, treatment and follow up of patients with thyroid cancers, euthyroid goiter, hyper and hypothyroidism.
Part time work in Casualty department till September 1997, than continue only with the post as Medical Oncology Specialist Senior Registrar running out - patient Chemotherapy clinic as well as patients on word.
Research activities
Member and one of the initiators of a Breast cancer joint clinic in Clinical Centre of Montenegro. Also initiated organized diagnostic approach, staging, follow up, standard chemotherapy regimens (like CMF, FAC, CAF, Cisplatinum –5FU etc, Tamoxifen, Anastrazol, Letrozole, Paclitaxel, Docetaxel, Capecitabine, Gemcitabine, Navelbin – all of which when available, facing difficulties with shortage of available therapy and therapy discontinuation) with multidisciplinary treatment approach. Working on Breast Cancer Registry (breast cancer incidence was 40 pts on 100 000 women of Montenegro) and made liaison with Lyon IACR which I proceeded to NIH of Montenegro for further development.
GI Joint clinic – treatment of metastatic GI tumors.
Gynecology Joint Clinic – most of the treated patients suffered ovarian cancer.
Urology Clinic – Most of the patients were referred in locally advanced and metastatic stage.
I proposed organ preservation treatment approach for bladder cancer.
Lung cancer joint clinic – treated locally advanced and extrathoracic stage of the disease.
Head and neck joint clinic – Chemotherapy of locally advanced disease.
